The Supreme Court of Ohio ruled that the gerrymandered maps presented by the Redistricting Commission violate Article XI, Section 6(A) of the Ohio Constitution. The process which is to be bipartisan and transparent has cost Ohio Voters millions of dollars in unnecessary legal fees and election disruption. The will of over 70% of Ohio voters in 2015 and 2018 was clearly to end partisan map drawing. For over 50 years the League has ar-gued with both major parties that Gerrymandering is wrong. Each party strongly agrees when the other is in power! This is a nonpartisan issue of voter participation and fairness. Contact your representative now to end this debacle.
